Oyebola Fatima Etudaiye-Muhtar is a Reader in the Department of Finance, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin. She has previously served as the Acting Head of Department, Departmental Post Graduate Coordinator and Level Adviser, mentoring the next generation of financial experts and policymakers.

With over 20 years extensive working experience in the financial sector, higher education, research, and administration, she is recognized for her ability to integrate rigorous academic theory with practical industry insights. Her research portfolio is extensively focused on the intersection of corporate finance, development finance, ethical finance, and financial markets within Sub-Saharan Africa. Her work is characterized by its relevance to contemporary global challenges. The outcomes of her research works are published in high-impact national and international journals and presented at international conferences across the globe. She is also an editorial board member of the Ilorin Journal of Finance, a peer-reviewed journal of the department, having previously served as the Editor-in-Chief and managing editor.

She is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB).
