Rihanat Idowu Abdulkadir, is a Professor in the Department of Finance, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin, with 20 years of university teaching, research and administrative experience.

R.I. Abdulkadir has served as Acting Head, Department of Finance, Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator and Academic Advisor to students over years. Her research is situated in the field of corporate finance and financial markets (with a special focus on dividend payout policies, portfolio investment in emerging stock markets).

She has several scholarly contributions in reputable referred journals and conference proceedings. She is a fellow member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
